Brave Little baby was created out of a passion for healthy sleep and shared interests in assisting mothers with all of the little hiccups along the long and winding road of parenting.

Zanda started dreaming of having a place where new or second or even third time moms –(because every baby is different) could go to find help with sleeping, eating and toddler behavior. Zanda then started assisting Lindi with her second baby to help establish good and healthy sleep habits from newborn stage, and Lindi joined in the dream.

 

Lindi and Zanda are cousins and the closest of friends. Their bond grew strong over the years and they have stood by each other through many of life’s struggles and experiences. Especially motherhood. What a privilege it is having your family, friend and one of your most favourite people as a business partner.

Zanda has three busy and healthy little boys, Willem (8 years), Leon (6 years) and Andreas (1 year) and Lindi has an adventurous yet sensitive boy Luan (3 years) and a cuddly and determined little girl Mila of 9 months. So between the two, have seen quite a few cases of childhood challenges an pleasures!

My passion is guiding tired parents and their babies towards healthier sleep habits. Sleep is a biological need just like food and water and without a proper night’s rest we can not be the best parents we want to be. Good sleeping habits is also a learnt behaviour and parents play a crucial role in helping their children to develop healthy sleep habits. I believe it takes a village to raise a child

When it comes to sleep it is sometimes hard to know what the best plan of action is and whether your current sleep situation is normal or not. Using my knowledge of the science of sleep and child development and my passion to help I will guide you every step of the way to ensure healthy sleep for you and your little ones. I can tackle any sleep issue and devise a workable plan for you and your child.

I am a qualified Child and Family Health nurse and a Certified Infant and Child Sleep Consultant with 21 years’ experience working with babies. As a mother of two beautiful now adult daughters, I know all too well the struggles of parenting, especially when you are sleep deprived. When my second child was 8 months old I was desperate, stressed and exhausted from a lack of sleep. I got the help of an experienced sleep consultant and we finally got our daughter’s unhealthy sleep patterns sorted and as a result I was a happier and more attentive mum. This made me realise that I also wanted to help other parents. Unfortunately I had to wait a few years before I could fulfil my dreams and start my own business as a sleep consultant.

The negative impact of sleep deprivation on physical and mental health as well as relationships should not be underestimated. I would love nothing more than to help you and your family get the well-deserved sleep you need.
