I can definitely recommend Brave Little Baby's Newborn Sleep Course. As a Psychologist myself, I am sometimes very critical of these types of courses, but I found their knowledge on the science of sleep of a high standard. Both Zanda and Lindi are clearly very experienced in this field and I was really impressed by them and their business. They were able to present the theory and practical skills in an easily understandable manner that any mommy can apply no matter their background or training. You won't be sorry if you do this course.

Our baby boy was never a good sleeper, but we hoped it would get better with time. However, he started waking more often from about 3 months and would feed every 2 hours. By the time he was 4 months old and hit the 4 month sleep regression, he was waking every 2 hours until 3am and then every hour thereafter. This was not sustainable as I was returning to work and could not function properly on such little sleep. We were also struggling to get him to settle for his day naps and was unsure what routine/schedule to follow. I was referred to Zanda by another lady who had only good things to say about her and thought (out of desperation) I would give her a call. And I am happy I did. Zanda helped us to set up a good day and night routine for sleeping and feeding. We used her suggested techniques to settle him for his day naps, and also for when he woke before it was his feeding time at night. Within a few days he was sleeping on schedule, waking at 10pm, 2am and 6am and would only feed at these times. I was so happy as this was such a great improvement and I was getting some much needed sleep. I now have the knowledge and tools to help my baby be a good sleeper.

Before meeting Zanda we were going down an unsustainable road filled with feeding, holding or rocking a heavy baby to sleep and then praying to God he didn’t wake up when we placed him in the cot for the night. As a working mom, I knew I needed something else, hence I reached out to Brave Little Baby. Zanda not only helped me better understand Hlelo’s sleep and developmental changes but she equipped me with the ability to help/guide my baby to learning independent sleep. Now we have a resemblance of a schedule despite going through a sleep regression. We were also able to work on gentle techniques because I knew letting him cry out was not for me. It’s a long journey and I know there will be other bumps along the road but I feel more prepared to face them head on.

Zanda changed our lives. You can't pour from an empty cup momma - and Zanda did just that; She helped us refill our cups to the brim! And not just us as parents, but our toddler and baby as well. Sleep has become such a healthy part of our days. We used to dread it! We now have time to spend with our eldest, as a couple we've found more time together. And with baby sleeping so well, I know he's growing at his best -mentally a s physically. He's turned in to such an absolute bundle of joy since sleep is no longer a fight nor a punishment. I couldn’t recommend Brave Little Baby enough. We’ve had a rough start with my sons sleep and did the newborn sleep course when he was 8 weeks old. I only wish I’d done it sooner! The course helped me understand sleep better and by practicing the techniques taught in the course my sons sleep has improved considerably. If you have a baby on the way or a newborn in the house, do yourself a favour and join the course.

Although we had a tough time fighting the 12month sleep regression, Zanda stuck it out with us and we're now in a much better sleep routine. I couldn’t find a high enough mountain to scream how absolutely amazing Zanda and the Brave Little Baby program is! My most perfect little girl is tube fed as has been through a couple serious operations already. I do badly wanted structure and routine for her and selfishly for my Husband and I too. Zanda worked up a plan that so perfectly fit Hannah-Grace. It was so much easier on the heart than I thought it would be because it’s done with so much love and support. Hannah-Grace sleeps like the Queen she is and Hubby and I get to spend uninterrupted time together again. I found out about Brave Little Baby via a friend in Cape Town and reached out to Lindi and her team. They have been so fantastic in helping us settle our little girl into more independent sleep routines and guiding us every step of the way. We wanted to get our 4 month old started with gentle sleep training and good habits, by 6 months we are cruising. Working closely with Lindi we chatted everyday and she gave us the support and tips we needed to push through. Now my baby girl goes down to sleep calmly and with ease, no tears and everyone is happy, I have more time spend with my family in the evenings and dinner at a table is even a reality. Brave Little Baby was the key to our family's door to better sleep! At 8/9 months it was time, exhaustion started bordering on burn out for our whole little family, we were purely surviving, after weeks of nightly, hourly (read every 30-45minutes) wake ups. Every. single. night. for 2 weeks. Sleep coaching, and I say coaching because we were given the tools to GENTLY guide our baby to better sleep with the guidance, care and encouragement of BLB and the respect of our boundaries in the approach of this journey. He learned to self soothe, feel safe and confident in his settling to naps and sleep. Within 3 nights our baby was Soothing himself at wake ups, and no longer needed to be breastfed or rocked endlessly to sleep or during the night. Sleep has helped us grow as a family. And now we have the tools for any future hickups in sleep! 100% Would Recommend 💥

Lindi from Brave Little baby came heaven sent. At the time I really needed the support. They gave me the confidence to enforce good sleeping habits on Ezra. Knowing there is someone to guide you every step of the way makes all the difference. He was waking up every two hours or even every hourly refusing to settle without consent bouncing and always having to pick him up. It was exhausting to say the least He was also fighting his day naps and they were all over the place. Brave little baby worked on the perfect schedule to suit our needs and adjusted it as we worked through it together. Ezra now has a solid two nap schedule and goes down in his cot with his dummy and teddy most days. He goes down after bathtime in his own room and sleeps 100% better, maybe waking for a bottle or two. I am extremely happy with the results and so happy that I got to work with Lindi. Sometimes we just need that extra bit of help. Don’t be afraid to ask for it mama’s It really could make all the difference!

Zanda was amazing in guiding us with sleep training. She provided daily feedback which enabled us to identify where we were going wrong and put new strategies in place. We went from multiple wakings at night and poor day sleep to sleeping through the night, with good day naps. It has been a life changing experience. Sleep training with Zanda has been our family's BEST decision! (We wish we had done it sooner.) Isla, our 8 month baby girl, was waking up 6-8 times a night and her day time routine/naps we knew could be improved. As very tired parents we eventually decided that change and help was needed. After a 15 minute discovery call with Zanda we knew that Brave Little Baby was going to be the right fit for us and it was going to be possible to implement healthier sleep habits for Isla. Together we decided on a routine and sleep strategy that was the best fit for our family. I must admit that I was a little nervous to start with the plan but can honestly say that it was the easiest process. By the second night of the two week program Isla was sleeping through the night and has slept through ever since (she is now 9.5months). The harder part was training myself to sleep through the night again 😆 Isla's daytime routine/naps were also tweaked and this has aided in a much happier baby and a less stressed mom/dad. A BIG thank you to Zanda who guided and supported us gently over two weeks and has made such a difference to the quality of all our lives. We are rested and better parents because of it! I would definitely recommend contacting Brave Little Baby if you are at all considering sleep training, don't put it off (like I did), do it!

Lindi was such a life saver for us! We were struggling so badly with our daughter's sleep until we came across Brave Little Baby. Lindi made us feel so relaxed and really took the time to understand our situation and helped us do things in a way we were comfortable with. We cannot believe the amazing improvement in our daughter's sleep. I honestly never thought our daughter would sleep this well and we were able to do it in a gentle way, always guided by Lindi in a kind and patient manner. Dankie Zanda, danksy jou hulp om gesonde slaap gewoontes te vestig by Dihann, het ek in die aand 'n tydjie vir myself en ook om kwaliteit tyd saam Emma (2 jarige) te spandeer, sodat sy nie afgeskeep voel nie. Dit was moeilik, maar definitief die moeite werd. Voor die' sleep training' was ek Dihann se dummy en kon ek niks gedoen kry in die aand voor ek gaan slaap het nie. Dankie dat jy ook deurentyd oor kerstyd beskikbaar was as ek raad nodig gehad het en dat jy my gemotiveer het as dit moeilik was. Ek beveel jou definitief aan vir enige mamma en gesin wat meer slaap nodig het.

Having your first baby is amazing but also very scary. Zanda has been my right hand through the entire sleep process... I could not have asked for better support. Lindi, from Brave little baby helped me with my little boy when he was 8 months old. I was battling to get him to sleep through the night. He was waking up between 3 and 4 times a night for either a bottle or his dummy. I spoke with Lindi, and she sent me a questionnaire to fill in. Once I had completed it, I received feedback very quickly. She make many suggestions which I tried. She was very helpful and answered all the questions I had. She also check in on me to see how I was doing and doing the progress was going. By 10 my little boy was sleeping through the night. Thank you to Lindi and the Brave Little Baby team.
